Medicines, pesticides or other artificial chemicals are not long part of our drinking water system. Beef from cows that have eaten grass throughout their lifespan is far healthier than that meat, which comes from cows in tight stables with poor nutrition. This high-quality meat contains a similar amount of omega-3 fatty acids as fish and is a much safer variant due to the progressive pollution of our seas.

Grass-fed beef has another advantage. It is rich in conjugated linoleic acids (CLA). CLA is often used to fight cancer, burn fat and make your immune system stronger.

Paleo Principle #4: Berries

While many experts are touting the importance of fresh fruit and fresh vegetables, we need to be cautious about the mass consumption of these foods.

An important aspect of the history of our food is that they have been genetically adapted in the course of modernisation. Today’s apple, for example, contains far more sugar than a Stone Age apple.

Because of this, we need to find out about the sugar content of these fruits and adapt our eating habits to them.
